"There are multifactors, there are many factors, genetics or a history of cancer, the risk of getting it is definitely higher. Apart from that, of course lifestyle factors," explained Dr. Boyke when contacted by detikcom, Friday (16/2/2024).
Dr. Boyke said the risk of sarcoma cancer appearing in the uterus increases three to five times before menopause. At this stage, it is best to carry out early detection more often to anticipate cancer cells spreading more widely and being in an advanced stage.
The reason is, the chance of recovery at an advanced stage is relatively smaller.
"It is best to avoid nuts and high-fat meats, foods that contain phytoestrogens," he said.
"Plenty of green vegetables," he concluded.

"Ada multifaktor, ada banyak faktor, genetik atau riwayat kanker sudah pasti risikonya terkenanya juga lebih tinggi. Selain itu tentu faktor gaya hidup ya," beber dr Boyke saat dihubungi detikcom Jumat (16/2/2024).
dr Boyke menyebut risiko kanker sarkoma yang muncul di rahim meningkat tiga sampai lima kali lipat menjelang menopause. Dalam tahap ini, sebaiknya lebih sering melakukan deteksi dini untuk mengantisipasi sel kanker menyebar lebih luas dan berada di stadium lanjut.
Pasalnya, peluang kesembuhan di stadium lanjut relatif lebih kecil.
"Sebaiknya saat sudah memasuki masa menopause, kacang-kacangan, dan daging dengan tinggi lemak dihindari, makanan-makanan yang mengandung phytoestrogen," tuturnya.
"Perbanyak sayur-sayur hijau," pungkasnya.
