Mrs. Iriana Joko Widodo accompanied by Mrs. Wury Ma'ruf Amin and members of the Solidarity Action Organization for the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet Era (OASE KIM) reviewed the socialization of breast self-examination (BSE) during a working visit to Jambi Province, on Thursday, October 20, 2022. The socialization which was held in the yard of the Jambi Governor's Office House, Jambi City, was carried out to commemorate the month of breast cancer awareness (breast cancer awareness month).
In her speech, Mrs. Iriana invited the cadres of Family Welfare Empowerment (PKK) in Jambi Province to participate in socializing BSE to families and communities. "I beg to disseminate it to children, relatives, the community, not only for use alone," said Ibu Iriana.
In addition, Ibu Iriana also invites the public to immediately go to the puskesmas if they find symptoms or signs of breast cancer. "If there is something a little suspicious or strange, you can check it at the Puskesmas," said Ibu Iriana.
On this occasion, Mrs. Wury Ma'ruf Amin expressed her appreciation to the PKK cadres who had participated in providing BSE socialization. Mrs. Wury also hopes that the socialization can continue to improve the health of Indonesian women.
