 - A mother named Fiona Gallacher (33) in Holytown, Scotland died of cancer just weeks after thinking she was pregnant. He initially experienced severe stomach pain, bloating and vomiting for two months.

Because of the symptoms she was experiencing, she underwent a pregnancy test in January until the results came out negative. Fiona finally decides to go to the hospital.

The examination finally revealed that Fiona was suffering from stage four adenocarcinoma. Adenocarcinoma refers to a cancer condition that originates from epithelial lining cells or cells on the outer part of an organ with glandular cell types.

This can be found in almost all organs of the body, for example the esophagus, prostate, pancreas, breasts and lung.

Doctors initially said Fiona would 'only' live between six months and a year. However, 11 weeks later or to be precise on March 22, Fiona finally died.

As a result of this incident, Fiona's family asked the public to have their health checked early and not ignore the symptoms that might appear.

"Fiona started having severe stomach aches but just didn't feel well. Her stomach suddenly swelled and she couldn't hold anything in, at first she thought she was pregnant because of what she felt," said Fiona's sister, Kellyann, quoted by the Daily Mail, Saturday (30 /3/2024).
Kellyann then said that a few days later they were told that Fiona had cancer. Doctors said he couldn't live much longer.

"It was such a shock to all of us, it felt surreal," he added.
Adenocarcinoma is often only discovered during testing or treatment for another condition. This disease accounts for around 90 percent of all kidney and colon cancers, 85 percent of lung cancers, and a quarter of all cervical cancers.

Because cancer can occur in several areas of the body, there is no one definitive list of symptoms of the disease and depends on the organs affected. Some patients may not experience any signs of symptoms until their cancer reaches a more advanced stage.

"I urge anyone who experiences abnormal stomach pain not to think twice about having it checked. Don't leave it until the last minute, immediately check with your doctor as soon as possible," stressed Fiona's older sister, Sarahann.
