1. Cabut semua label/tag
Jika kamu membeli baju atau barang dari luar negeri maka mencabut semua label atau tag bisa jadi solusi jitu.
Setelah itu, kamu bisa mengenakan baju tersebut maka barang tersebut tidak lagi tergolong sebagai produk baru.
Jika kamu membeli baju, usahakan tidak melebihi lima potong sebagaimana sesuai dengan peraturan.
Jika barang tekstil yang masuk melebihi jumlah tersebut maka bisa dikenakan tarif bea masuk.
"Ini kan udah aku pakai (baju baru), jadinya ini bukan barang baru lagi. Dan dibatasi untuk tekstil itu cuma lima," ucap Jessica.
2. Buang kotak kalian
Selanjutnya, jika kalian membeli sepatu baru yang akan dipakai sendiri maka buang saja kotak sepatunya.
"Kalau misalnya kalian beli sepatu, kan buat kalian pakai sendiri, buang aja box-nya," tandasnya.
3. Membaca dan hapal undang-undang
Tips ketiga mungkin membutuhkan usaha lebih, lantaran kamu perlu mempelajari dan tahu betul undang-undang yang mengatur tentang peraturan Bea Cukai.
Sebab, kata dia tak jarang ada oknum petugas Bea Cukai yang memanfaatkan ketidaktahuan masyarakat untuk mencari keuntungan dengan menarik tarif bea masuk yang tidak masuk akal.
"Kalian itu harus ready (siap) berargumentasi dengan mereka (petugas Bea Cukai). Jangan sampai kalah, jadi kalau dia ngegas kita ngegas balik! Karena peraturan mereka itu nggak masuk di akal," pungkas Jessica.***
