HUMAN KIDNEYS

HUMAN KIDNEYS
• Kidneys filter approximately 200 liters of blood in a day, (every 30 minutes; 50 times a day).

• Kidneys have around 2 million nephrons (filtering units) that account for 10 miles of distance when laid end-to-end!

• Kidneys have remarkable ability of hypertrophy (increase in cells in response to stimuli), therefore in the absence of one kidney, another one sustains the body.

• In children born with a single kidney, the only kidney grows such that it has a combined weight of two!! SubhanAllah..

• Kidneys have just 0.5% of body's weight but receive blood more than all other organs except liver.

• During dehydration of the body, kidneys automatically reduce urine volume. It is restored once the body gets normal. (Every machine needs an operator but who is operating this!!!)

• In the scenario of low body oxygen, kidneys produce red blood cells producing hormone that ensure sound health.

• Kidneys send signals to the brain to empty the bladder only when it's half-full (preventing the inconvenience that could have occurred if we needed to empty it as soon as it had some amount).

HOW CAN ALL THIS BE A CHANCE EVENT?!!!

"Or were they created by nothing, or were they the creators [of themselves]?"
At-Tur 52:35

"[It is] the work of Allah, who perfected all things. Indeed, He is Aware of that which you do."
Quran 27:88
