"My favorite person!" Mark Zuckerberg pays sweet birthday tribute to pregnant wife Priscilla Chan
PALO ALTO, CALIFORNIA: Mark Zuckerberg is all excited to welcome his third child with wife Dr Priscilla Chan, who celebrates her birthday on Friday, February 24. In a cute online tribute to his partner, the Meta founder posted, "Happy birthday to my favorite person! (Or, as August likes to call her, the main character in our family.)" The post he shared is a picture of him with Chan kissing her and holding her baby bump. Zuckerberg added, Love this photo! Happiest birthday to Priscilla and can’t wait to meet the newest family member soon! He also cheekily commented, “And yes, this photo was taken in a science lab,” as per People report.
The pair are expecting their third baby girl together, and are currently proud parents to August, 5, and Maxima ‘Max’, 7. Priscilla Chan and Zuckerberg first shared the news of her pregnancy back in September. "Lots of love. Happy to share that Max and August are getting a new baby sister next year!" Zuckerberg captioned while sharing an adorable photograph together. In the photograph, Zuckerberg was seen smiling and placed his hand on his wife’s stomach.
The couple exchanged vows in 2012
The couple tied the knot in May 2012 after their long romantic relationship in their Palo Alto backyard. Many were surprised to know about their marriage since they anticipated it was a celebration of Chan’s graduation from UCSF medical school. They recently recreated one of the moments from 2012, while celebrating their 10th wedding anniversary together. "10 years married and half our lives together, here’s to more adventures," Zuckerberg captioned. "And the same photo from our wedding 10 years ago!" in another.
It all began back in 2003
The pair’s love story started in 2003 when they started dating after meeting in line for the bathroom at a party at Zuckerberg's Harvard University fraternity when he was a sophomore and Chan was still a freshman. "He was this nerdy guy who was just a little bit out there," Chan remembered while talking with New Yorker in 2010 of their meeting. "I remember he had these beer glasses that said 'pound include beer dot H.' It's a tag for C++. It's like college humor but with a nerdy, computer-science appeal."
